The Hall High Girls Basketball team faced off against a tough E.O. Smith team on Tuesday night in Robinson Gym.

Hall started off strong with a tough defense. At the end of the first quarter, Hall took the lead 8-6 with a buzzer beater by McKenzie Mandyck.

Hall went into the locker room at halftime only down by 7, but a strong third quarter and E.O. Smith’s deep bench proved too much for the Lady Warriors.

E.O. Smith (8-3) was lead by seniors Claire Greene (14 points) and Kate McAvoy (9 points) and finished the game with a 51-31 win over Hall (2-4).

Mandyck led the Warriors with 10 points. Also helping out the Warriors were Julia Zydanowicz (8 points) and Abby Magendantz with 7.

The Warriors travel on Thursday, Jan. 20 to face South Windsor and then they hit the court again on Saturday against Windsor at home.
