To the Editor:

Congratulations to Leon Davidoff on his bipartisan appointment by the Town Council to be our next Town Clerk. His leadership on local fiscal, economic development, and zoning policy will be missed on the Town Council, but he is the perfect choice to carry on the extraordinary service of Essie Labrot as Town Clerk.

The duties of Town Clerk are among the most varied in local government. Leon Davidoff’s experience as an attorney and small business manager as well as his knowledge of our whole community will serve us well as our Town Clerk. More importantly, I have come to know Leon as a  decent, caring, and hard-working person who will always put people first.
