Jewish Family Services (JFS), a West Hartford-based organization providing counseling, education, and community support to help people in need in West Hartford and Greater Hartford, announced it is now selling Discount Cards just in time for March Madness.
“This community program is a slam dunk!” said JFS Director of Development Kimberly Margolis. With a purchase of a $20 card you will receive a discount at all participating restaurants throughout the year. [That] $20 fills a bag of food, toiletries and cleaning supplies for a family in need and all proceeds benefit the Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry.”

The West Hartford-based pantry serves all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
“In Connecticut, 414,730 people are struggling with hunger and 117,380 are children. We appreciate the support and partnership of our local restaurants to make this a win-win for all.”
