The Webster Hill Elementary PTO is encouraging the community to get out and enjoy Thanksgiving morning together while supporting the school during the second annual Turkey Trot run/walk which begins at 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

“Last year over 300 community members participated in the 5K which looped around the Webster Hill neighborhood,” organizer Erika Burke White said.

“The PTO is encouraging all runners, walkers, and stroller-pushers to spend the morning outside together. All money raised will benefit Webster Hill Elementary School. … Don’t miss out on this fun community event!” Last year many participants wore costumes as well.

The school is located at 125 Webster Hill Boulevard. The cost to participate is $15 for those ages 6-12 and $20 for participants age 13 and up. Children 5 and under are free.

The first 300 registrants will receive an exclusive Turkey Trot pom hat, White said.
