Carl Lantz of Re/Max Premier in West Hartford has been named the 2019 GHAR Realtor of the Year, the organization announced last week.
Lantz, also a West Hartford resident, was chosen for the top honor by his peers in the GHAR organization, which has more than 4,000 members.
According to a new s release, the award is “given to one Realtor who has displayed outstanding volunteer leadership and contribution to the real estate industry and the Realtor organization.”
Lantz served as president of GHAR in 2017, and since 2005 has served on numerous local, state, and national boards and committees. He has been a director of the Connecticut Association of Realtors (CTR) since 2007, and is currently Region 3 vice president.
“He continually puts the Realtor brand first, is an active member of the West Hartford community, as well as a strong advocate for the real estate industry and homeowner rights,” the release states.
Selection is based on a combination of involvement in Realtor associations on a local, state, and national level, as well as professionalism, business accomplishments, and community involvement.
Lantz will be recognized at the CTR Leadership Conference as well as at the GHAR Holiday and Volunteer Appreciation Party in December.
