New Park Brewing opened in March 2017 at 485 New Park Ave. in West Hartford, and has already garnered local, regional, and now national attention with a nomination for “Best New Brewery” in USA Today’s 10Best reader’s choice competition.

The West Hartford brewery – which specializes in small batch craft brews and has just started limited release of cans – is one of just 20 to be nominated for the honor, which itself is a great honor. According to USA Today, the nominees were chosen by a panel of experts from among breweries founded in the past two years. There is one other Connecticut brewery among the nominees: Fox Farm Brewery in Salem.

“We are honored to be nominated for USA Today’s Best New Brewery award – in some excellent company on this list! Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year!” said New Park Brewing co-owner John Doyle.

The final winner will be determined by the voting public, and Doyle would love the support of the community to help ensure victory.

There is no need to sign up, and it’s possible to vote once per day, until voting closes at noon on March 19.
