The ‘Small Works’ Holiday Show and Sale begins on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.

The West Hartford Art League will showcase 150 “Small Works” that will be for sale in the Saltbox Gallery beginning Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024.

This year’s exhibit was juried by Art League President Rob Loebell. All mediums of work were accepted, as long as the piece was no larger than 12 inches, and priced under $250.

More than 80 artists are represented in the Holiday Show and Sale, which is an annual event at the West Hartford Art League held every December.

“We had a very large turnout this year, with artists submitting work from all over the state,” said Art League Executive Director Roxanne Stachelek. “There’s a great variety of work as well, with hopefully something for everyone’s taste and price.”

The sale will open on Sunday, Dec. 1, with hours from 1-4 p.m.

Gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m., but please note that the gallery will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28  for Thanksgiving. For information please call the office 860-231-8019.

The Saltbox Gallery is located at 37 Buena Vista Road in West Hartford.
