West Hartford Police put out another plea Friday for information regarding the hit and run incident on Dec. 22, 2022, which resulted in the death of 89-year-old Eugenia Yurovsky.
Capt. Daniel Moffo said in an email Friday that police believe Yurovsky was struck by a light-colored vehicle.
“A possible motor vehicle of interest may include a 2010-2015 GMC type vehicle, which may have been involved. The fleeing vehicle likely sustained damage to the front driver side grille and bumper area,” Moffo’s email states. The image above is of the type of vehicle – though not the actual vehicle – which police believe may be involved.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Boulevard and Whiting Lane, shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20.
West Hartford Police are continuing to actively investigate the incident. Anyone who has information regarding this incident is asked to contact West Hartford Police at 860-523-5203 or the Traffic Division at 860-570-8850, or contact police via the anonymous tip line email 860-570-8969 or by email at [email protected].
