Legendary musicians will perform together this December.

No, that isn’t a headline from 70s. You can see Big Al Anderson this December with West Hartford’s Jim Chapdelaine (guitar) and his band, The Shinolas.

The Shinolas (disguised as “The Floor Models” for this gig) consist of Jim and Paul Kochanski (bass), Lorne Iarusso (drums), and Ed Iarusso (pedal steel). The award-winning musicians will be performing with the legendary Anderson on Dec. 26 and 27 at the Hills Point Hotel Ballroom, Windsor, CT. Show time is 7 p.m.

Many Connecticut music fans will recognize Anderson’s name from his 24-year stint as one quarter of the beloved cult band NRBQ. (Quick, without an internet search, what does NRBQ stand for? Add your comment below).

Speaking of blasts from the Connecticut-rock-band-past, the other very special guests are the Wildweeds.
